Why building dust needs a different clean
Sanding and plastering throw up fine dust that hangs in the air long after the work stops. It then settles on every flat surface, inside cupboards, along skirting boards and on top of door frames, and a quick wipe only moves it around.
We work from the top of each room down and vacuum before we wipe, so the dust is lifted away and not smeared across the surface.

When should I book the clean?
Once the messy work is finished, including sanding, plastering and painting, and the builders have taken their tools and leftover materials away. If dust is still being made, it settles again after we leave.
Can you remove paint splashes and plaster from floors and windows?
In most cases, yes. We lift paint spots, plaster and adhesive from hard floors, glass and fittings using a method that suits each surface. Paint that has been left to cure for a long time, or that sits on a delicate surface, may not come off completely, and we'll tell you before we start.
Do you clean inside cupboards and wardrobes?
Yes. Building dust gets everywhere, so we clean inside cupboards, drawers and wardrobes as well as the outsides, plus the tops of doors, frames and light fittings.
How long does an after-builders clean take?
It depends on the size of the property and how much dust the work left. We'll give you an estimate with your quote.
Can you get the property ready for new tenants?
Yes. If the work was done between tenancies, we can bring the property up to the standard of an end of tenancy clean, ready for the next check-in.
